Welcome to Maplewood Public Library. The shelves are in chaos, strange creatures lurk beyond the light, and people are
disappearing from the town’s memory.
By day, explore five library halls, collect scattered books, and return them to their alphabetical homes. Earn
credits, improve your equipment, and hire staff to help bring order to a collection of 100,000 books.
After closing, your quiet shift becomes a fight for survival. Defend yourself against book goblins and other
supernatural visitors, find somewhere to hide, or retreat to your personal office until morning.
Along the way, follow the Night Register to uncover the library’s secrets—or concentrate on restoring the shelves at
your own pace.

Available now: Single-player for Windows 64-bit. Play offline with keyboard and mouse.

Install instructions
1. Download The Last Librarian.exe.
2. Double-click the downloaded file to play. No installation or ZIP extraction is needed.
3. Choose Begin your library and follow the opening briefing.
Controls: WASD to move, mouse to look, E to interact, Tab for inventory, and Esc to pause.
Your progress saves automatically. Updates keep your existing saves.
Requires 64-bit Windows, keyboard and mouse. Play offline in single-player; multiplayer is coming soon.
